'Shoalhaven Wild Winds'
As the gusty winds continued to blow across our vineyard on the outskirts of Milton, we felt Wild Winds captured the essence of the property in that moment. 'Wild' is also a nod to going against the grain, being unconventional and even rebellious.
Milton is a beautiful country town within the Shoalhaven Wine Region, on Murramarang country, of the Yuin nation and Dhurga language group, and is overlooked by the sacred Didthul (Pigeon House) Mountain.

After making wines under other labels in different styles, I have been making wines the way I want to make them for a number of years now - with integrity and authenticity. Wines reflective of their terroir that I can be proud to call my own.

It's what's on the inside that counts
​Wild Winds is a boutique vineyard located in the Shoalhaven wine region of New South Wales. We believe in the value of quality over quantity and our wines are a testament to that. Our property is also home to a small orchard and olive grove.
We’re working hard to create a cellar door that will offer bespoke immersive experiences. Our goal is to create memorable moments for our visitors.

OUR PHILOSOPHY
South Australia is in my blood
Despite now living in New South Wales, I was born in Adelaide and grew up living at the base of the Adelaide Hills. In fact, I was a stones throw from the original Penfolds Estate vineyard. I studied at the University of Adelaide and 'cut my teeth' at Scarpantoni Estates in McLaren Vale. Over the next 20 years having made wine in many of the regions across South Australia, I developed strong grower relationships giving me access to the best South Australian fruit.

My winemaking philosophy was simple - to make approachable wines, handcrafted with love that you'll want to share with family and friends!

This simple philosophy has carried me throughout my winemaking career and in 2015 I successfully launched a range of wines with Naked Wines - Handcrafted Enfant Terrible Wines. Since that time I have been taking great grapes, adding a simple layer of winemaking and blending them in an unconventional way to produce ​wines of interest.
Now, the JPM wine range is in the beginning of a new phase - taking regional wines to the next level towards single-vineyard / single block wines. There are vineyard's worthy of producing a single varietal / single block wine of providence and I hope to bottle it for your enjoyment.
